Longines Serge Manzon 5046 silver watch

In the early 1970s, Longines commissioned famous French designer, Serge Manzon to create a unique series of watches out of silver and which took their inspiration from the belt buckle.

Our example is Reference 5046 of the range, numbered 4/10. It's hallmarked .925 Sterling Silver. Longines have confirmed that this watch was made on 30th July, 1973.

The movement is manually wound, a Longines signed calibre 417-460 with a signed crown.

The adjustable strap is of Ostrich leather and was hand made. Case measures 26mm W x 44mm L by 9mm D.
